We all want a constant comfortable room temperature, therefore every home heating systems need controls. The answer is KALIREL. Building Regulations Part L states that it is no longer acceptable to control the whole house from a single temperature controller, or to heat the whole house all day while many rooms are not in use. It is wasteful of Energy and money and produces more of the “greenhouse” gases which contribute to global warming.

In the current economic climate and fragile housing market, many people are opting to improve rather than move. Kalirel heating may appeal to your customers who are adding extensions or conservatories to their property because each radiator is effectively a central heating unit in its own right. Home owners are finding that installing Kalirel radiators enables them to programme heat according to room occupancy and avoid heating rooms when they are not in use.

Building Regulations Part L also insists that new homes should be divided into at least two heating zones, whilst existing systems should be upgraded to almost the same standards. The Kalirel Cyclope system permits the control of 15 radiators in up to four zones whilst the Pilot Wire Programmer allows up to 2 zones and both options can be installed as a whole system or added to the existing heating system. The minimum set of controls permitted by Part L is specified in “CHeSS” (General Information Leaflet 59). As these controls were specified well over five years ago, installers should now look to meet or exceed “Best Practice” as defined in CHeSS. This is very easy, thanks to the huge advances in heating control such as wireless programmer Cyclope ©. By adding controls to your system whether they be inbuilt or external will make your system more efficient and will provide you with more consistent levels of home comfort. The Cyclope is wireless, meaning that the controller talks to the radiator using wireless zig-bee technology. There is no need for any wires to link the control to the radiator. No taking up flooring, no threading wires around the room, just clean, tidy, easy to use central heating.

Adjusts temperature during the day:
Having one temperature for an hour as you rise, a much lower temperature during the day background, a rise as homecoming approaches, then a boost for family comfort during the evening. Finally it can set a low overnight temperature background, sufficient to keep the chill off. Kalirel with ZIGBEE© Wireless make all installation very simple, as there is no wiring back to the wall programmer – so no holes to drill, no ugly wiring and no damage to decorations. The wireless technology is very well-established and reliable for heating controls. This saves electricity and money on all but the coldest days each winter, therefore CYCLOPE intelligently divides the home into 4 zones, adjustable by both time and temperature.
Every kalirel radiator has its own fully remote controllable thermostat which gives the ability to program heat for any room for any time of day. Thus only heating the rooms you want when you actually want them heated. This zoned approach has proven savings in the region of 20-30% across all heating systems.

Creating heating zones:The right heat, wherever and whenever it's wanted.

morning                              night                            evening

Comfort, economy and efficiency are greatly increased when a home is divided into zones covering different living needs. It is insufficient to apply insulation without considering the heating, in most cases there is no need to heat bedrooms during the day, or run the whole system at the same temperature whenever the heating is on. Part L of the Building Regulations insists new homes should be split into at least two heating zones (plus domestic hot water), while existing systems should be upgraded almost to the same standard.
Zoning is especially useful where unique time and temperature control of a part of the building is required, such as for a granny flat, home office or conservatory. Zonal heating with individual units in each room (or zone) is a popular choice in homes. Separate thermostats give you the flexibility to control areas to be heated providing maximum comfort in every room. Planning for a zonal heating system must start early because the system depends on the efficiency of the building shell and the floor plan.
A zone, in the typical home, would be defined as any area isolated from other areas by partitions or doorways. In typical 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home might need 4 or 5 zones. Homes with more open floor plans will have fewer zones. With KALIREL heating there can be more than one heater in a zone controlled by a single programmer (classic or cyclope)

Kalirel control 15 radiators & up to 4 zones in 1 click.
With our Zig bee© wireless technology you can individually control on your screen the temperatures, timings, instant costs and power you are using during the day.
Imagine a stylish, cost-effective, centrally controlled radiator in every room – but with no pipes and no wires. Then add the ability to program the time (each hour) and temperature of each unit individually, and you've got Kalirel heating, the French system that is taking the UK by storm. It offers all-electric heating that is cheaper to run but which can be installed in a matter of minutes.
The radiators will need electricity all day, however It can be programmed via a state-of-the-art wireless remote controller which constantly calculate the electricity flow needed(therefore a 25% economy in comparison with storage and panel), gives you a read-out of the temperature & timing programming in every room and the energy being used or you wish to use. Kalirel© the first wireless device of its kind that can receive, display and alter the current room temperature and radiator settings. It's easyer to SAVE if you can SEE what you use!
use the cyclope wireless controller

ZigBee radios in each radiator throughout a hotel, church, offices, house or apartment, creating a self-forming, self-healing wireless network that lets each radiator communicate with the remote control anywhere in the residence. With its electronic controls, innovative “cyclope©” heat management & calculating the electricity flow needed, kalirel offer the highest efficient & controllable heat. Exactly when and where you want it.Therefore complying with the energy efficiency requirements of the Building Regulations part L.
